South Burlington, VT
South Burlington surrounds the eastern and southern sides of Burlington. It is an active community and was named “Vermont’s #1 sports town” by Sports Illustrated in 2003 and “The Top Best Town for Families” by Family Circle Magazine in 2008. The mountains are just a drive away and Lake Champlain is accessible in the neighboring town of Burlington. Recreation
South Burlington has an 18-hole golf course, numerous tennis courts and 8 parks. Popular recreation paths connect mostof South Burlington. Red Rocks Park is a well known swimming spot on Lake Champlain. Dorset Park is a 210 acre park that is split into two sections. One section has soccer fields, tennis courts, baseball fields, and an indoor ice arena with two
rinks. The other section is a wooded area for cross-country skiing, nature walks, and exercising trails.

South Burlington is home to Vermont’s largest enclosed shopping mall. The University Mall has more than 70 shops and services with plenty of free parking. Craft Fairs and Farmer’s Markets which feature handmade Vermont products are popular events throughout the summer and fall.
