Hinesburg is located in southern Chittenden County approximately 15 miles southeast of Burlington and about 10 miles east of Lake Champlain. The town’s
history is rooted in farming and today the Village is still surrounded by open farmland that follows the LaPlatte River. It is situated against the edge of the Green Mountains, providing outdoor activity all year long.
Hinesburg takes pride in maintaining its rural Vermont character, but is also just a short drive to downtown Burlington’s Church Street Marketplace, a pedestrian mall offering some of the best dining, shopping, and entertainment Vermont has to offer.
